Wedding Reception - Lindsay Fagunder & Daniel Eekhoudt

This was definitely one of the weddings that stands out for me this year as the couple chose to go with orange and blue, a very rare combination. Having said that, it was one of my favorite looks of all time. The tent where the bride and groom sat lit up like fire and really stood out with the blue surrounding it. This was due to the 4 moving lights we used in the ballroom that acted as the orange spots in the tent, spotlight for the bride & groom, spotlight for the podium and then changed colors all night long to follow the beat of the dance music. Enjoy the amazing pictures thanks to Curtis Moore.

Wedding Reception - Grace DeLeon & Harley Baerr

Grace & Harley celebrated their reception at the Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South. The look was definitely not your average look as they had black draping throughout the room and this can create some challenges for lighting sometimes but the room looked great! We used 35 Wall Washes throughout the room to create a purple glow that went very well with the black and white in the room. Definitely made for great pictures!

Wedding Reception - Lough-Stenson (August - 2012)

This beautiful reception took place at the historic St. Charles Country Club. The decor was phenomenal so it was easy to add lights to accent the room. Purples and Pinks worked out great in this room and really transformed the country club reception hall. The dancefloor was draped in white all around and we placed our washes behind the draping to really give it that glow.

Wedding Reception - Vivek Cheba & Arpit Lotay (Calgary, AB - July 2012)

One of the most anticipated weddings of the year took place at The Westin Calgary, AB. Vivek Cheba and Arpit Lotay above and beyond for their reception and didn't hold anything back, especially when it came to the lighting. Combined with 50 Wall Washes, 24 Table Pin Spots, 4 Moving Lights for Ceiling and Dancefloor Texture and a Spot Light for the Cake, the room looked extravagant to say the least! The theme was red and gold for cocktails and later changed to blue and orange for the reception part of the evening. Hope to be back in Calgary very soon!

Wedding Reception - Deepak Pruthi & Subha Chhibba (June 2012)

Deepak & Subha had their reception at the Delta Winnipeg and went with a royal blue and gold theme which really complemented the decor in the room. We used 30 wall washes in total which is the perfect amount for this room. These colors really mixed in well with each other to create that glow in the room!

Corporate - Manitoba Roofing Association (June 2012)

The Manitoba Roofing Association has their event at the Hotel Fort Gary in the Concert Hall Ballroom. We tried to bring some modern color into this vintage looking room to really liven up the room from the tradition amber and yellows. The blue and green washes turned out great and really brought some life into the room. The event decor was done by Events by Emma who always do an amazing job!

Charity Event - Crohns & Colitis Foundation

This is our favorite event of the year as we get to display our best when it comes to lighting. This year's event took place at Victoria Inn Hotel which is a very large room so lighting is very key. The combination of orange and pink washes really brought a warm feeling to the room and created a great atmosphere for all of the attendees. The event was a huge success as the emcees Joe Aiello of 92 Citi FM and former Blue Bomber Obby Khan really kept the audience entertained all night long. Enjoy the pictures!

Corporate - Riverview Health Gala (May 2012)

The Riverview Health Centre Foundation's "Centre Stage Gala" took place on the main floor of the Winnipeg Convention Center with a crowd of over 400 guests. Funds were raised towards the refurbishment of Riverview's Palliative Care Unit. We had the opportunity to light up this event by using a rare yellow wash which looked amazing when combined with the decor.

U of M Science Grad (April 2012)

We had the opportunity to work with the U of M Science council to turn the 2012 Science Grad into something that hasn't been done before. The theme was "A Night in Paris" so we wanted to transform the grand ballroom at the Fairmont into something upbeat and classy and chose the colors Blue and White for the Wall Washes. We also had 4 Moving Head Lights for a Starry pattern on the ceiling which later worked as Dance Lights as soon as the music started bumping! Enjoy the pictures!
