Wedding Reception - Phong & Ninh (The Gates on Roblin)

This beautiful wedding reception took place at The Gates on Roblin. Phong & Ninh wanted to try something a little different from the average wedding so they decided to fade the wall washes starting with blue near the entrance slowly fading into purple for the backdrop. We placed a very sharp looking monogram on the middle of dance floor that added a focal point to the room.

Wedding Reception - Andrea & Ryan (Manitoba Club)

We had the opportunity of working with Andrea of Soiree Event Planning to light up her special day. It was a pleasure working with the Soiree team to create a very classy and elegant light pink theme throughout the room. Light fixtures were placed all around the room behind the white drapes to make the look come together.

U of M Science Graduation (April 2013)

The 2013 U of M Science Graduation was something to remember as they went all out on their decor and lighting. The Fairmont Hotel was painted with colors light blue and purple colors on the walls to make for a very classy look. We had a variety of looks for the ceiling ranging from blues and pinks to texture patterns to keep the look of the room changing throughout the night. Enjoy the pictures!

Charity Event - Crohns & Colitis (May 2013)

The Crohns & Colitis Charity Event is always one of our favorites each year as we get to take over the Victoria Inn and totally change the look of the room with our full out lighting show. This year, the charity chose to go with red and orange walls with texture patterns on the ceiling. The stage was the focal point of the room so we added Spot Lights to enhance the look of the Stars from the 60's.

2013 Wonderful Wedding Show Inspiration Gallery

Elite Lighting had the opportunity to work alongside some wonderful wedding vendors in Winnipeg to come together and create a "Dream Around the World" wedding theme displaying a range of tables with different cultural themes and colors. We setup wall washes all around the room with various color patterns for each table. We also setup Pin Spot lighting for the tables on our enormous 40 foot truss in the center of the room.  This was accompanied by 4 Moving Lights to give texture to the draping on the ceiling and the sides of the room. All in all, it was a success and we had a great time working with all of the vendors!

Wedding Reception - Nita & Sumit (Fairmont)

This reception took place at the Fairmont Winnipeg. Sumit is one of my best friends and I knew this would be a wedding reception not to miss! My favorite part about this wedding was the draping around the room by Planned Perfectly, they did an amazing job and made our lighting stand out so much more and compliment the drapes. We also setup 4 Trusses with Moving Head Lights on them to wash the ceiling with color and then go all over the room when the dancing started. Enjoy the classy pictures by Curtis Moore!

Wedding Reception - Lindsay Fagunder & Daniel Eekhoudt

This was definitely one of the weddings that stands out for me this year as the couple chose to go with orange and blue, a very rare combination. Having said that, it was one of my favorite looks of all time. The tent where the bride and groom sat lit up like fire and really stood out with the blue surrounding it. This was due to the 4 moving lights we used in the ballroom that acted as the orange spots in the tent, spotlight for the bride & groom, spotlight for the podium and then changed colors all night long to follow the beat of the dance music. Wedding Reception - Grace DeLeon & Harley Baerr

Grace & Harley celebrated their reception at the Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South. The look was definitely not your average look as they had black draping throughout the room and this can create some challenges for lighting sometimes but the room looked great! We used 35 Wall Washes throughout the room to create a purple glow that went very well with the black and white in the room. Definitely made for great pictures!

Wedding Reception - Lough-Stenson (August - 2012)

This beautiful reception took place at the historic St. Charles Country Club. The decor was phenomenal so it was easy to add lights to accent the room. Purples and Pinks worked out great in this room and really transformed the country club reception hall. The dancefloor was draped in white all around and we placed our washes behind the draping to really give it that glow.
